Bombay Duck/Bombil (Whole, Cleaned) 1kg

Bombil or Bombay Duck is a freshwater lizardfish and is an integral part of the culture of Mumbai. Funnily named, it's still a fish and a very healthy one at that. Legend says that this fish reached the Western waters when Lord Rama was building the bridge to Lanka; every creature agreed to help except Bombil. That made Rama angry and he snapped the fish in half and threw it behind him in our waters. It is said that that could be the reason for Bombil's soft bones and delicate frame. However, Doof does not approve of this bad behavior. Everyone must eat Bombil atleast a few times, especially the Rava fry.
